Getting through a busy week with a smile on your face.

Getting through a busy week with a smile on your face sometimes feels impossible... right? Well at least for me sometimes I feel exhausted and deflated by Wednesday and Thursday. I put this out on social media and I got some great tips back as to how to get through the week motivated and with a smile on your face. 

  1. Take a nap- Oh man sometimes there just are not enough minutes in a day to do this.. Maybe on a lunch break- 10 min snooze could just be enough to get you energized.
  2. Coffee.. By Wednesday I know I go to 2 to 3 cups a day and each time I smell that aroma it brings a BIG smile on my face. 
  3. Do something nice for someone else! Just a little something that takes your mind off of the lists of things you need to accomplish! That'll make you smile!

Here are some things that I have done in the past that have helped me get through. 

  1. Get out and enjoy the day.. Take a walk, jog, bike ride what ever floats your boat in regards to exercising. 
  2. Go out to lunch or happy hour on Wednesday with a great friend or coworker. This really does spice it up - rejuvenates you!
  3. How bout pampering yourself at the end of the week for a job well done! Whether it is a massage, buying a purse, hat getting a mani/pedi.
  4. Yoga... Now this is new to me, being a yogi (as my instructor Emily Jane Parnham would call it) has completely changed me. It is AMAZING how my body feels after yoga. Best thing is she comes to you for private sessions.. (really holds me accountable) and gives you a take home plan.
